Prior to the 1973 Roe v Wade ruling legalizing abortion, New York already legalized it in 1970. The state became the abortion capital of the U.S. through abortion tourism. Now, as conservative states once again restrict the practice in a post-Roe America, New York pro-abortion politicians are doubling down on abortion tourism.
New York Governor Hochul’s abortion obsession took a giant and questionable leap, allocating twenty-five million in tax payer dollars in two phases to protect and expand abortion infrastructure in the state. Phase two is the allocation of fifteen million dollars to for-profit abortionists. All the money is intended to be used to recruit more abortionists, expand facilities, and add telehealth tools to sell more women dangerous chemical abortion drugs.
Phase one included enhancing security for abortionists while ignoring pro-life pregnancy centers under assault and further threat from pro-abortion extremists.
