Recently, New York Gov. Kathy Hochul signed a bill insulating chemical abortionists from criminal liability through telehealth services. Chemical abortion now represents over half of all abortion in the U.S. The new law comes as the U.S. 5th Circuit considers overturning the FDA’s illegal approval of the abortion drug Mifepristone, so dangerous that many have called it the “chemical coat hanger.” Thumbing its nose at the federal court, New York even announced in April that it would begin stockpiling 150,000 doses of aborticidal drugs. Rev. Harden was quoted by the Washington Stand, “… the [bill] New York Governor Hochul recently implemented, shielding abortion quacks from liability — heinously upend[s] the role of government to protect all people equally, especially vulnerable women and children.” Is Hochul’s shielding of abortionists from liability a tacit admission of the danger of chemical abortion?
