There are more abortions in New York per capita than any other state—the abortion industry is headquartered in New York City. CompassCare not only provides the lion’s share of life-saving medical care in the abortion hubs of Buffalo, Rochester, Albany, but is the only medical abortion alternative for women in Brooklyn and The Bronx.
Right now, the pro-life community in NYC can only serve 0.2% of women at-risk for abortion. CompassCare is currently partnering with other pro-life organizations in NYC and serving women through TeleCare in order to build the pro-life service infrastructure that can serve 10% of the women at risk for abortion in NYC.

Saving twice as many women and babies from abortion in New York will require at least twice the budget, which is why your participation in this unlimited dollar-for-dollar match is vital. Over the next three years, the CompassCare expansion project to break into four of the five city boroughs will cost at least $7 million.
Fully leveraging this unlimited dollar-for-dollar match is critical to reaching and serving 2x as many women annually through 2027, building the staff and infrastructure (medical space, renovations, ultrasound machienes, etc.) to compete with the abortion industry in New York.
This month, CompassCare is relocating its Brooklyn service to a larger medical office and launching a new medical office in The Bronx as the mobile medical van deployed there this summer is just too small to handle the massive demand.
Brooklyn and The Bronx represent two of the largest abortion hubs in the nation and CompassCare is the only pro-life medical service available to women there. Added to the new medical offices, CompassCare is also managing a team of TeleCare nurses and continued deployment of the mobile medical unit into high-risk NYC neighborhoods.
Christ’s foes have been unable to stop His life-saving work through CompassCare. Neither arson, vandalism, intimidation, Google censorship, weaponized legislation, nor pro-abortion political zealots like the NY Attorney General have been able to stop the saving of lives and the proclaiming of the Gospel. The CompassCare team never once cowered and has always emerged victorious. It reminds me of the Scripture that says, “How blessed is he who considers the helpless; the LORD will deliver him in a day of trouble” (Ps. 41:1).
Scripture commands that as followers of God we “Open your mouth for the mute…defend the rights of the afflicted and needy” (Prov. 31:8a, 9b). Preborn boys and girls are without voice, power, or legal standing; they are truly helpless. And their mom, abandoned by society and coerced into choosing between her life and her baby’s, needs compassionate and ethical medical care.
