The “Hands Off” protests of April 5, 2025, mobilized an estimated 3 million left-leaning activists to protest the current Presidential Administration, with sights set in particular on Elon Musk’s efforts to root out governmental waste through DOGE. Leading up to April 5, protestors, vandals, and arsonists targeted Tesla dealerships and individual owners. With another international day of protests planned for May 1, 2025, Rev. Jim Harden calls conservatives to be vigilant against new waves of Antifa recruitment and action.
The attacks on Musk’s industry-defining EV company have conspicuous similarities to the BLM riots following the George Floyd incident, the ‘Stop Cop-city’ eco-terrorism protests, Jane’s Revenge rampage on pro-life groups after the leak of the Dobbs decision, transgender calls for revolution, and pro-Palestinian protests after the October 7th Hamas attack on Israel. In each of these cases, Antifa was shown to be behind the protests and incited violence. US Attorney General, Pam Bondi, called the wave of vandalism and arson against Tesla “nothing short of domestic terrorism.”
Rev. Jim Harden, CEO of a pro-life medical network that was firebombed by Antifa, has spent the last three years working with private investigators, researchers, and dozens of attorneys studying the methods of and personalities behind Antifa. Rev. Harden notes, “The ‘Hands Off’ protests were a recruitment moment for Antifa. Their fingerprints were all over the initial acts of domestic terror against Tesla, and their foot soldiers are easily identifiable with their blac bloc dress code, red-letter graffiti and posterboards, and even Molotov cocktails. If you were to look in their figurative wallets, you would likely note a common benefactor.”
Mark Bray says in his Anti-Fascist Handbook, “Despite the various shades of interpretation, Antifa should not be understood as a single-issue movement.” Bray notes, “…anti-fascism has played a crucial role in struggles around the world over the past century.” One recent Antifa communique stated, “We fight not just for abortion rights, but for trans liberation…and [the destruction of] capitalism, and the uprooting of the entire global civilization.”
Rev. Harden clarifies, “Antifa isn’t pro-abortion or anti-Elon, pro-USAID or anti-Israel. They expertly use such causes to lure left-leaning, disaffected activists to their true cause: the destruction of the nation-state system founded on the constitutional rule of law and capitalist free market. With strongholds in the US and Europe, Antifa acts to destabilize, dismantle, and destroy the West’s moral framework and economy. In so doing, to obscure their covert activities, they point fingers at patriots, accusing them of the very crimes they are committing, and crying foul when their victims bring legal recourse against them.”
Waves of protest are the hallmark of Antifa’s Marxist insurgency. The mobilization of protestors around left-wing causes, peppered by professional, paid violent agitators is a classic fourth generation warfare tactic. Rich Higgins, former irregular warfare expert in the Pentagon revealed, “Antifa’s goal is nothing less than fomenting revolution, civil war and silencing America’s anti-communists.”
Rev. Harden says, “The House Judiciary Committee and Chairman Jim Jordan are calling on the FBI to account for their failure to investigate Antifa’s attacks on pro-life pregnancy centers and churches. There is currently a legislative initiative to curb discrimination against pregnancy centers. The FBI launched a task force to investigate Tesla-related domestic terror attacks. But there is a bigger picture. Merely treating these issues as isolated instances is missing the vital opportunity to stop Antifa’s true objective: our destruction. The Trump Administration, House Judiciary Committee, Department of Justice, and private companies like Tesla need to use their platforms to do what Antifa dreads: expose their covert actions.”
